  The estimated cost to have my taxes done was reasonable. I later received a bill that was twice the estimate with the comment that my taxes were "easy." My taxes were "complete" 2 months before due, and I paid the cpa bill immediately. After repeated inquiries about the status of my refund, I was told by this group that "the IRS is slow this year with refunds." I later received a note from the IRS that my taxes were accepted 3 MONTHS after the time I was told they were submitted. On further inquiries (none of my emails at this stage were answered) I was told that an additional form was missed by this cpa group, but don't worry, I'll have my taxes soon. So: overpriced, unreasonable estimates, lies, poor communication, and egregiously late. I received a huge refund, but no credit to the group as it was simply a similar refund to what I did on turbotax the year before. I basically waited 3 months on the large refund. They continue to not respond to my questions about very simple, basic tax advice. Isn't this the sole benefit of an accountant? Google proved more useful and thorough. I will ABSOLUTELY be taking my business elsewhere--likely turbotax again, as it is easy, cheap, and has an inexpensive audit insurance that would completely cover any audit expenses, whereas I'm sure I'd be paying these morons were an audit to occur. What more bad qualities could they exhibit?
